Abec doesn't matter at all. Watch this: http://youtu.be/KRK0w8P-qy4 Only thing that matters is the
material used, and how you take care of them.

oh yeah I forgot to mention that I put there a link to a wikipedia article about ABEC scale for
those of you who didnt know what it was. I also think that the layout/position of this link is not
the best. especially before you vote.

I skate ABEC3. My experience is that ABEC1,2 are too slow and anything else comes apart very soon.

Anyway, very nice poll smiley

honestly ...i "bearing-ly" give a fuck lol , ok that was a dumb play on words , but yea i dont
really care , mostly the main thing i care about when i buy bearings is the shields cuz if they're
metal i might aswell pop em out right then & there otherwise its gonna be a hassle later taking them
out while they're stuck and probably busting up the bearings while getting stuck , i ended buying
these spitfire ones a while ago by accident with like a rubber shield and thought it was genius , so
yea , my main thing , the shields and not for dumb "i like the way it sounds " purposes either.

abec is a precision rating (how round the balls are), doesnt say how strong the balls of the
bearings are at all, the rating is more or less relevant in ventilators, machines etc...
jump down a few stairs and most will be abec 0
regular swiss for me!

I ride swiss, those aren't abec rated

I dont care very much nowadays, but there used to be times when I picked bearings according to this
scale. I preferred ABEC 5 because they were fast enough and most durable. ABEC 7 were faster but
fell apart pretty quickly and ABEC 3 could have been thrown into fire without any harm, but they got
slow really fast. So my vote went to 5s
