The 22nd Münster Monster Mastership is taking place in Dortmund for the fourth time, and (competitive) skateboarding continues to enjoy unprecedented popularity. Once again, skateboarders from all over the world are coming to the heart of the Ruhr region, and many of Germany's top riders are also taking part this year. As far as the US starters are concerned, the now immense prize money at the X-Games and countless other events is making itself felt a little. Nevertheless, many of the long-established participants made their way across the pond and once again made the event a European summer highlight!
Der 21. Münster Monster Mastership findet zum mittlerweile 4. Mal in Dortmund statt und (Contest-) Skateboarding befindet sich nach wie vor auf einem nie dagewesenen Hoch. Erneut kommen Skateboarder aus aller Welt in das Herz des Ruhrpotts und auch viele der deutschen Ripper nehmen in diesem Jahr teil. Was die US-amerikanischen Starter angeht machen sich die mittlerweile immensen Preisgelder bei den X-Games und unzähligen anderen Events ein wenig bemerkbar. Dennoch fanden viele der alteingesessenen Teilnehmer den Weg über den großen Teich und machten das Event ein weiteres Mal zu einem europäischen Sommerhighlight!
