The initial idea for the name emerged in Brazil in 2017. The name "Labirinto" refers to the myth of the labyrinth in Crete, making a fuss about how modern society creates structures and mechanisms such as "labyrinths" to hide the greed for power and the exaggerated consumerism of the population, just as King Minos included the Labyrinth in the myth to hide his punishment "the Minotaur" for having been greedy in not sacrificing a bull to Zeus.
